National Museum of Colonial History
The National Museum of Colonial History is located at Wellington Bassey way. This museum has an education center, a research library, and a museum shop. The museum also has a beautiful garden where one can sit and watch small boats drift along the creeks. AkwaIbom International Stadium
AkwaIbom International Stadium, popularly referred to as the Champions Nest, is a 30,000 seater, multipurpose sport complex. It is modeled after Allianz Arena in Germany. The stadium is one of the best stadiums in Nigeria, which has been used to host social, religious and cultural events. The Amalgamation House
The Amalgamation house holds a significant historical importance in Nigeria history. The building is a cottage where Lord Luggard proclaimed the amalgamation of the Northern and Southern protectorates in 1914. The Amalgamation House,according to history, once served as the premier administrative headquarters in AkwaIbom State before it was moved to the city of Calabar. Lord Luggard’s residence is opposite the Amalgamation house.

This park, also known as the cenotaph, is a public park which holds monument for fallen heroes. It attracts hundreds of nationals every year during the Armed forces Remembrance Day. The park is also used for other events like wedding receptions, sporting activities and of course, picnics!
